Trainee Solicitor – Public Sector In-House 2-Year

Dumfries and Galloway Council is recruiting a Trainee Solicitor to start in January 2027. This 2-year fixed-term traineeship offers exposure to Court and Licensing as well as Commercial, Planning and Property teams, with supervision and a clear pathway to PEAT 2 outcomes.

You will engage with elected members, clients and colleagues across council services, delivering legal support in a diverse, public-sector setting.
