Compliance Officer

This role is with a company operating in the retail industry, located in Skelmersdale.

Job Description

• Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures across the organisation.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues.
• Provide guidance and training to staff on compliance matters.
• Prepare and submit compliance reports to management and regulatory bodies.
• Investigate and resolve compliance breaches or concerns.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting the retail industry.
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities as needed.

A successful Compliance Officer should have:

• Strong knowledge of compliance regulations and standards in the retail sector.
• Experience in conducting audits and risk assessments.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
