As a
Housekeeping Assistant , you will be:Cleaning designated areas , ensuring they are kept tidy, hygienic, and welcomingCarrying out housekeeping duties
within residents’ homes with care and discretionMaintaining communal areas
so they are consistently neat, tidy, and well presentedCleaning floors , including vacuuming, shampooing carpets, and polishing furniture and woodworkEmptying and relining waste bins , following correct disposal proceduresCleaning windows and glass surfaces
within reachCarrying out laundry duties
efficiently and to a high standardAdhering to COSHH regulations
and maintaining a safe working environment at all timesKey Requirements
Previous experience working as a
Housekeeping Assistant, Housekeeper, or CleanerSelf-motivated , personable, and able to communicate effectively with residents, colleagues, and visitorsFlexible and adaptable , with a willingness to respond to changing priorities and shift patternsA basic understanding of
infection control, COSHH, and compliance standards
