Job Description

• Plan and manage transport operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance schedules and compliance with legal requirements.
• Monitor and optimise routes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Lead and support the logistics team to achieve operational goals.
• Ensure all transport activities comply with health and safety standards.
• Manage budgets and track profitability of operations.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet customer requirements.
• Analyse transport data to identify trends and implement improvements.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Transport Manager should have:

• A managers CPC with a knowledge of operational best practice
• A focus on compliance and a high standard to vehicle maintenance
• A commercial attitude to transport management with an ability to manage customer relationships
• A background in winning customer relationships and business development would help
