We are looking for experienced
Teaching Assistants
to support children and young people across schools in
Wigan and St Helens .
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience supporting
SEND, SEMH, autism, ADHD, behavioural needs or additional learning needs .
The role may involve:
1:1 support for pupils with additional needsSmall-group interventionsSupporting emotional regulation and behaviourHelping pupils access learning and build confidenceWorking closely with teachers and SENCOsProviding consistent pastoral and nurture-based supportWe would like to hear from candidates with previous experience as a
TA, LSA, HLTA, SEN support worker or similar , although transferable experience from care, youth work, mentoring or mental-health support will also be considered.
Relevant education, SEND, childcare or mental-health qualifications are desirable, and an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service would be beneficial.
