Job Role of the Night Shift Maintenance EngineerA fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Night Shift Maintenance Engineer to join a large-scale, highly automated manufacturing facility within a globally recognised organisation. This site has recently seen significant investment and offers a modern, open-plan production environment with excellent long-term career prospects.Working as part of a small, skilled night engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance across complex production lines. This is a key role focused on maximising equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and improving overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).The site operates advanced, high-speed processes including chemical handling, heating, and precision manufacturing, offering engineers exposure to specialist equipment within a COMAH-regulated environment.Sector

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Night Shift Maintenance EngineerMaintenance experience within a manufacturing or forces backgroundLevel 3 in Engineering or above
Requirements for the Night Shift Maintenance EngineerStrong fault-finding and diagnostic skillsExperience with PPM systems and continuous improvementUnderstanding of Health & Safety regulations within manufacturingEngineering qualification (apprentice trained or equivalent)
Desirable Requirements for the Night Shift Maintenance EngineerExperience working in a COMAH or highly regulated environmentExposure to high-speed or automated production linesBasic electrical fault-finding capabilityExperience using CMMS systems
