About the Role
Lucam Consultancy is currently seeking a
passionate, dedicated, and motivated Healthcare Assistant (HCA)
with experience in
Dermatology or Minor Operations (MOPs)
to join our team in Gloucestershire.You will work alongside a
Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS)
supporting
Two-Week-Wait (2WW) outpatient clinics . Your main responsibility will be to provide support to patients throughout their appointments, including acting as a
chaperone
and helping to ensure patients feel comfortable and supported during their care.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HCA with a background in outpatient services who is looking for flexible weekend work.Key Responsibilities
Chaperone patients during consultations and clinical procedures.Support the CNS during Dermatology and Minor Operations clinics.Provide a professional, compassionate, and patient-focused service.Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and supportive clinical environment.Follow relevant clinical, infection control, and confidentiality procedures.Work effectively as part of the wider clinical team.Essential Experience
Applicants
must have previous outpatient experience , ideally within:DermatologyMinor Operations (MOPs)Outpatient Department (OPD) settingsA minimum of
6 months’ relevant experience
in a specialised outpatient setting is required.Requirements
Minimum of 6 months’ relevant HCA experience.Previous experience within an
Outpatient Department (OPD) .Experience in
