Job Role Teach secondary-aged pupils working at a KS2 level, adapting primary curriculum content to their individual abilities and learning needs. Deliver engaging lessons across core subjects, supporting academic progress and essential skills. Teach small groups of up to 6 pupils and provide 1:1 support where required. Support pupils with SEMH, ASD, trauma-related backgrounds, and behavioural challenges. Adapt teaching methods and resources creatively to engage pupils who may struggle with traditional classroom approaches. Build trusting relationships while promoting positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and independence. Demonstrate patience, resilience, flexibility, and creativity when responding to challenging situations. Combine effective teaching with holistic pastoral support. Primary Trained Teacher
