PublicA major public sector data programme needs a QA Tester to join an Agile delivery team. You’ll write the Test Approach document, carry out Functional System Testing and Integration Testing, and support end-to-end testing on a data extract project. The work includes analysing customer requirements and technical documentation, identifying test scenarios, writing test scripts, preparing test data and running and recording tests.The role needs an excellent understanding of test techniques and Risk Based Testing, so you can verify outcomes against expected results and record them for audit trails. You’ll work closely with the delivery team and key stakeholders to achieve the business objectives.Responsibilities:Check and assess requirements, including the testability of designsCreate low-level test plans and test scripts, and set up test dataRun and record testsGive regular status reports to the Delivery ManagerIdentify and raise project and product risks and issuesRequired skills:Talend as an ETL toolTesting Oracle RDS solutionsTest data preparation and creationFunctional system test experienceTest tools (e.g. test automation, Postman)Agile methodologyData warehouse and martsData migrationWriting Test Approach and Test Completion reportsJira and ConfluenceTest management tools (e.g. Zephyr)ETL experience
