We’re working with a high-growth international fintech business looking for an Interim Chief Legal Officer / General Counsel.
Reporting directly to the CEO and sitting on the executive team, you’ll lead an international legal function and help shape how the team is structured as the business continues to grow.
The role will include:
- Leading an international legal team across the UK, Europe and US
- Advising the CEO and executive team on key legal and business matters
- Helping shape the structure and priorities of the legal function
- Leading the team through a period of change and providing stability throughout
- Ensuring the legal function keeps pace with the growth and changing priorities of the business
- Overseeing a broad range of legal matters across an international business
We’re looking for an experienced GC, CLO or senior legal leader who has worked in a high-growth environment and is comfortable stepping into a business going through change.
Experience within fintech, financial services, technology or another regulated, high-growth business would be particularly relevant. Fintech or payments experience would be ideal but isn’t essential.
The initial assignment will be 3 to 6 months, with potential to become permanent.
We’re looking for someone who can start by 2 November, so immediate or short notice availability is essential.
