Business Partner

A growing UK financial services business is expanding through acquisitions and needs a Business Partner to sit at the centre of it.

You will report to the CFO and work directly with the leadership team, the deal team and the investors.

The role

• Lead the financial modelling and due diligence on acquisitions, disposals and debt facilities
• Support deal structuring, working closely with the CFO and the acquisitions team
• Own the investor reporting, and be a trusted point of contact for the private equity backer on the numbers
• Build and maintain the acquisition, valuation and business plan models
• Track every acquisition against its original deal case and feed the learnings back into pricing
• Keep the forecast and five-year plan up to date as deals complete

You

• ACA qualified, with transaction services or corporate finance experience
• Since qualifying, you may have moved into an advisory firm, a consultancy or another financial services business, and you have kept your deal and modelling skills sharp
• You build integrated three-statement models from scratch
• Financial services experience strongly preferred
• Experience of investor or lender reporting, ideally to a private equity backer
• Confident in front of senior stakeholders and investors
• At your best when the deadlines are tight
