Electrical Project Engineer – Deeside / North West – Capital Projects – £46-50k + Overtime + 10% Pension + Bonus+++ £46-50k +++ Paid overtime +++ 10% pension +++ Quarterly bonus +++ BUPA +++ Major site investment +++Samuel Frank is recruiting for an Electrical Project Engineer to join a major manufacturing company in the Deeside area.The business is investing heavily in plant improvements and long-term development, giving the successful Electrical Project Engineer the opportunity to deliver a range of electrically biased CapEx and plant improvement projects from concept through to commissioning and handover.This could be a particularly good opportunity for an Electrical Project Engineer with 2+ years’ relevant project experience who wants to develop their career within a large, well-established engineering environment.Key aspects of the Electrical Project Engineer role include –Deliver electrically biased capital projects from concept, design and specification through to installation, commissioning and handoverManage project scope, budgets, programmes, contractors, suppliers and key stakeholdersProduce project plans, specifications, risk assessments and Management of Change documentationManage equipment suppliers and installation activities on siteSupport plant improvement, process enhancement and manufacturing development projectsWork closely with engineering, production, maintenance, procurement and HSE teamsEnsure projects are delivered safely on time and within budgetElectrical Project Engineer – skills and experience required –Degree, HND or HNC in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline2+ years’ experience within an Electrical Project Engineer, Project Engineer or similar engineering roleExperience of CapEx, plant improvement or engineering projects within manufacturing, process, heavy industry, metals, chemical, utilities or a similar environmentStrong communication, project management and stakeholder management skillsExperience of continuous process manufacturing would be particularly relevantKnowledge of CDM, functional safety, machinery safety, Siemens or Rockwell PLCs, AC/DC drives or instrumentation would be advantageousPackage includes –£46-50k basic salaryPaid overtime10% pension contributionQuarterly bonusBUPA28 days holiday + Bank HolidaysAnnual pay reviewProfessional membership subscriptionsSupport towards further professional qualificationsThe site is easily commutable from Deeside, Chester, Wrexham, Ellesmere Port, Liverpool, Runcorn, Widnes, Northwich and Warrington.
