Apply for the Senior Project Manager
Location: London
Job Description:

We’re working with a globally recognised entertainment and technology business to find an experienced Senior Project Manager for its Executive Portfolio Management Office.

This is a key role leading the discovery phase of a large, complex programme. You’ll bring structure to multiple connected projects, working with teams across the UK, US and Japan to define scope, costs, resources and priorities ahead of the programme moving into delivery.

You’ll be comfortable navigating senior stakeholders, coordinating large cross-functional teams and making complex work feel clear and manageable. The programme has a broad operational focus, so experience with ERP, supply chain or systems implementation projects would be useful.

The role

You’ll lead discovery across several projects, making sure plans, milestones, budgets and responsibilities are clear. Working closely with Operations, Commercial, and IT teams, as well as external suppliers, you’ll help shape the programme’s next phases and keep senior leaders informed.

The role will involve:

  • Building and maintaining project plans, schedules and key documentation
  • Coordinating discovery activity across multiple workstreams and teams
  • Scoping and prioritising delivery phases, milestones and dependencies
  • Forecasting resource requirements and identifying costs for discovery and delivery
  • Tracking progress, budget, risks and issues, and providing clear updates to senior stakeholders
  • Bringing teams together around shared priorities and keeping communication consistent
  • Identifying gaps in processes and ways of working, then working with teams to develop practical solutions
  • Preparing presentations and process documentation for project teams and senior leaders
  • Spotting opportunities to improve processes and supporting the change needed to make them work

About you

You’ll have a strong track record of managing large, complex programmes or projects in a global environment. You know how to lead discovery, bring multiple teams together and turn a broad brief into a clear plan.

You’ll also bring:

  • At least seven years’ project management experience
  • Experience working with large, cross-functional teams across different regions
  • Strong skills in project scoping, discovery, resource forecasting and costing
  • The ability to manage several projects or workstreams at once
  • Confidence communicating with senior leaders and presenting complex information clearly
  • A thoughtful, practical approach to risk, decision-making and problem-solving
  • Strong knowledge of project management tools and delivery methods
  • A degree in Business Administration, Project Management or a relevant subject, or equivalent experience

Experience with ERP projects, particularly SAP, would be beneficial. Supply chain, operations, logistics, technology or consumer electronics experience would also be useful, as would a PMP or comparable project management qualification.

If you’re available for a six-month contract and enjoy bringing clarity and momentum to complex programmes, we’d be keen to hear from you.
