Biomedical Scientist, Microbiology – Band 5/6, Flexible NHS

York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Biomedical Scientist with HCPC registration to join the Microbiology laboratory at Hull Royal Infirmary. The role is Band 5–6 (run-through) with training for extended hours, on-call, and weekend rotations.

The successful candidate will work across the Microbiology team, perform tests, interpret results, and contribute to patient care. Core hours are 08:00–16:30, with 24/7 cover via extended hours.
