Site Manager

Looking for a contract where your passive fire expertise is valued and your time on site is well paid? This Site Manager role in Stroud puts you in charge of fire door projects for a respected specialist.

The role

• Oversee passive fire projects from start to finish, keeping work on programme and to specification
• Supervise installers and operatives, ensuring good standards of workmanship and site discipline
• Manage health and safety on site, including briefings, inspections and records
• Check that fire door installations meet the required standards and are properly documented
• Act as the main on-site contact for clients, contractors and inspectors
• Report on progress, resolve issues quickly and keep projects moving

What you’ll bring

• Working knowledge of BM TRADA fire door standards and certification
• A valid SMSTS certificate
• A current DBS check (or willingness to obtain one promptly)
• Previous fire door experience, ideally as a Site Manager, Contracts Supervisor or similar role in passive fire protection
• Strong organisation, clear communication and a practical, hands-on approach
• Reliable and able to work on sites in the Bath area
