Physical Care Support Worker (Immediate Start) – West Cumbria

What we offer

• Standard Day Rate: £13.70 per hour
• Enhanced Day Rate: £15.69 per hour
• Night Shift Rate: £18.72 per hour
• Sleep-In Shifts: Available following day shifts with additional pay
• Shifts: 12-hour rotations (10:00 – 22:00 or 22:00 – 10:00)

Responsibilities

• Delivering personalized physical and personal care tailored to individual patient needs.
• Executing safe manual handling techniques to support mobility.
• Managing and overseeing PEG feeding protocols with precision.
• Ensuring the prompt and accurate administration of medications.

Qualifications

• Practical experience with PEG feeds, manual handling, and medication administration is required.
• Willingness and ability to work consistent 12-hour day or night shift patterns.
• Due to the rural nature of the shift locations and anti-social hours, the ability to drive is essential.
• Occupational Requirement: We are seeking a female candidate for this position. This is a genuine occupational requirement permitted under Section 9, Part 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.
