Field Sales Representative

Good with people and great at spotting an opportunity? This customer-facing sales role puts you on the road, working with leading machinery brands across Yorkshire.

Join a successful and growing machinery and parts business that is looking for a Customer Service Representative/ Field Sales Representative to look after its customers across the region. You’ll be based inMalton, North Yorkshire, and spend around half your time out on the road visiting customers in York, Scarborough, Bridlington, Beverley, Hull and the surrounding areas.

The role:

This role mixes customer service and sales. You’ll look after existing customers, get to know what they need and find ways to grow parts and service sales. Day to day, you’ll:

• Build long-term relationships with customers
• Visit customers on site to give advice and spot new opportunities
• Sell parts, servicing, maintenance plans, warranties and other services
• Work with the service team to sort out customer issues quickly
• Use customer data and technology to find sales opportunities
• Represent the business at customer events, demonstrations and exhibitions

About you:

• Experience in a B2B or B2C sales or customer-facing role
• Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills
• Confident with IT, including Microsoft Office
• A full UK driving licence and happy to travel regularly
• Experience in agriculture or with machinery is a bonus but not essential. Full training is provided.
