Our client, a national courier and logistics company are seeking a number of Class 1/ LGV CE Drivers to join their Team. Based out of their Distribution Site in Barnsley manufacturing site you will be responsible for completing deliveries nationally. LGV CE Driver Job Description: As a Class 1 / LGV CE Driver, you will be responsible for safe and efficient transportation across the country. Key duties include completing necessary transport administration, driving in a fuel-efficient manner, ensuring compliance with all EU Driver Hours and RTD Regulations, adhering to safe systems of work, and conducting pre and post vehicle checks. This role is temporary up to mid/late December. LGV CE Driver Rates (PAYE): Mon – Fri £17.27 5 per week days Guaranteed Shifts start between 0500 & 0600 Requirements: Hold a full HGV CE driving licence. Possess a minimum of 24 months driving experience for Driver Negligible Incident (DNI). Demonstrate a good level of English speaking and written communication skills. Have a maximum of 6 points on your licence for minor offenses (DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements will not be accepted). Possess a UK Driving Licence, Digi Tachograph Card, and CPC Card. Ability to complete at least 2 nights out per week LGV CE Driver Benefits: Driving an HGV – Class 1 vehicle. Additional routes available for longer shifts. No handballing required.
