Ophthalmology Staff Nurse | Dublin
Cpl Healthcare is recruiting an Ophthalmology Staff Nurse to join a leading eye care service in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse looking to develop specialist skills within ophthalmology while enjoying an excellent work-life balance. The department operates predominantly Monday to Friday, with no night shifts and offers exposure to a wide range of ophthalmic services and procedures.
The successful candidate will rotate throughout the Eye Department, gaining experience across:
- Eye Scanning and Diagnostic Services
- Outpatient Clinics
- Eye Injection Service
- Minor Laser Eye Surgery
You will be part of a highly skilled multidisciplinary team delivering specialist care across a broad range of services including Cataract Surgery, Glaucoma Care, Medical and Surgical Retina Services, Refractive (Laser Eye) Surgery, Corneal Surgery, Ophthalmic Oculoplastic Surgery, Paediatric Ophthalmology and Neuro-Ophthalmology
Requirements
- Active NMBI registration
- Previous acute hospital nursing experience
- Ophthalmology experience essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and clinical assessment abilities
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
