An ambitious, growing organisation is seeking an experienced Head of Finance to lead its finance function and play a key role in supporting continued business growth.

Working closely with senior leadership and group finance stakeholders, the successful candidate will combine strong financial control with commercial insight, drive improvements in reporting and forecasting, and help the business make informed decisions. With increasing business complexity, new revenue streams and a focus on operational efficiency, the role offers significant scope to make an impact and progress into a broader strategic leadership position.
Key Responsibilities:
Own financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, delivering clear insights that drive business performance.
Take the lead on financial control, UK and Irish VAT, compliance, payroll and audit.
Lead, coach and develop a high-performing finance team.
Turn financial data into actionable commercial insights, dashboards and pricing strategies.
Partner with senior leaders to shape business decisions and drive new revenue opportunities.
Champion automation, AI and smarter systems to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent recognised professional qualification)
- Strong technical expertise and commercial awareness
Experience building dashboards, financial models or pricing tools to support commercial decision-making.
Strong systems skills, multi-currency transactions and high-volume financial data.
A genuine interest in AI, automation and continuous improvement.
