The Role

• Assemble and fit electrical switchgear and electromechanical equipment
• Work from engineering drawings and technical documentation
• Build and install components to required specifications
• Support prototype and development builds
• Ensure high standards of quality, safety and workmanship
• Identify and report defective components
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area

We’re Looking For

• Previous Mechanical Fitter, Mechanical Assembler or Assembly Technician experience
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience using hand tools and workshop equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable

• Experience within switchgear manufacturing or a similar engineering environment
• Site installation or field service experience
• Familiarity with RAMS and safe working practices
