Plasterer urgently required to join the Northern Ireland Housing Executive team, based in Newtownabbey. This position will be initially temporary for three months, with the potential for extension based on performance. Working hours are 0830 – 1630 Monday to Friday offering an hourly rate between £14.35 and £15.36, depending on experience.
The successful applicant will be responsible for completing all plastering duties across major and minor construction, maintenance, and refurbishment works. Responsibilities include removing and replacing plasterboard, hacking off existing plaster, and carrying out small associated tasks such as minor brickwork, forming steps or ramps, and working at height.
What We Need From You
– Minimum of 5 years experience in a plastering role
– NVQ, City and Guilds or above qualification in plastering
– Willingness to obtain a Basic AccessNI check
– Full UK Driving License
