We are building a network of talented nursing professionals for upcoming Deputy Nurse Manager opportunities within established care home settings.
About the Opportunity
Deputy Nurse Manager positions offer an excellent opportunity to combine clinical expertise with leadership and management responsibilities, working alongside the Nurse Manager to support the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.
Typical Responsibilities May Include:
- Supporting the Nurse Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursing department.
- Providing clinical leadership, guidance and support to nursing staff.
- Maintaining high standards of resident care and clinical practice.
- Supporting audits, compliance, care planning and quality improvement.
- Assisting with staff management, rotas, supervision and training.
- Building positive relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals.
- Providing management cover and deputising for the Nurse Manager when required.
What We’re Looking For:
- Registered Nurse with an active UK NMC PIN.
- Previous senior nursing or leadership experience, ideally within a nursing or residential care home environment.
- Strong clinical knowledge and leadership capabilities.
- Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for delivering compassionate, person-centred care.
- Ambition to develop further within a nursing management position.
