Prison Mental Health Nurse: Early-Custody Support & Care Plans

Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Early Days in Custody Mental Health Practitioner to support newly admitted prisoners with their mental health needs during the first 14 days in custody.

You will carry out reception screening, develop initial crisis plans for at-risk patients, and conduct comprehensive mental health assessments with collateral checks, coordinating with prison services and community teams to ensure timely care plans.
