Mental Health Nurse

This Mental Health Nurse post sits at All Saints Hospital, a specialist mental health service run by Elysium Healthcare. The work is nursing care for people who are deaf or have complex communication needs, including assessing and planning care and mentoring team members. The setting is a multidisciplinary team of deaf and hearing staff, supporting men over 18 in self-contained flats towards more independent living. Applicants need an NMC registration and a relevant nursing qualification, and the role is subject to a DBS check.

What the job involves

• Provide high-quality, effective and compassionate nursing care to service users
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care
• Provide mentorship and support to team members
• Observe, record and report changes in service users
• Maintain accurate records of the care provided
• Support colleagues and promote positive teamwork

Qualifications

• Qualified Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
• A relevant nursing qualification

Registration & licences

• NMC registration

Experience

• Experienced Mental Health Nurse from the NHS or private sector in the UK
