Senior Finance Manager – Real Estate

Working Pattern: 4 days in office and 1 from home

A PE-backed Real Estate business is looking to hire a commercially focused Senior Finance Manager into the team with responsibility for managing 2 qualified accountants as well as leading all aspects of finance for one of the divisions.

The role combines FP&A, Oversight of month-end, Business partnering, Financial Control and Team management so it’s a broad finance position.

The division you will be working within manage a number of Real Estate assets across the UK and your responsibilities will include:

• Oversight of month-end reporting and review of monthly management packs and KPI reports
• Commentary on performance against budget and forecasts with analysis on key drivers
• Lead the annual budgeting and regular reforecasting processes
• Develop understanding of operational and commercial drivers behind financial performance and identify emerging risks, opportunities and performance trends
• Produce financial analysis for new and existing strategic initiatives
• Act as Senior Finance Business Partner for the division working with senior stakeholders across the business
• Translate financial information into commercially relevant recommendations and constructively challenge assumptions and decisions where appropriate
• Manage and develop team of 2
• Oversee financial treatment of Capex and partner recharges
• Ensure appropriate financial controls are in place
• Lead continuous improvements to processes through auromation and partner systems and data improvement projects
