The RoleIn the position of Senior Electrical Project Engineer, you’ll hold the technical reins for electrical engineering projects throughout their entire lifecycle.Your involvement will span feasibility studies, design, development, procurement assistance, on-site delivery, installation, testing, commissioning, and operational handover.Guiding electrical engineering projects from initial idea to final executionCrafting and evaluating electrical designs, specifications, and technical documentsEngaging with both high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) electrical systemsSupporting initiatives in power generation, grid connectivity, and electrical infrastructureOffering technical insights into electrical distribution, power systems, and process controlAiding in project planning, engineering coordination, and execution activitiesWorking with SCADA, control systems, and related electrical equipmentSupervising installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshootingCommunicating with clients, suppliers, contractors, and project stakeholdersResolving technical issues and devising practical engineering solutionsEnsuring projects are delivered safely, compliantly, and efficientlyYou’ll get the chance to witness the impact of your engineering choices, rather than passing designs off to another team.
Who We’re SeekingWe’re keen to connect with seasoned Electrical Project Engineers, Senior Electrical Engineers, Power Systems Engineers, and Electrical Design Engineers eager to lead diverse technical projects.
Required Experience:Extensive electrical engineering background in power generation, renewable energy, utilities, industrial engineering, EPC, electrical consulting, or infrastructureHands-on expertise in HV/LV electrical systems, electrical design, or power distributionProven track record in contributing to electrical projects through design, execution, installation, or commissioningSkill in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentsProficiency in resolving engineering challenges and making informed technical choicesExcellent communication abilities when interacting with clients, contractors, and engineering teamsReadiness to travel frequently to project sites throughout the UK
Experience That Sets You Apart:Power generation connected to the grid or grid integrationHV/LV electrical distribution and power systems expertiseExperience in electrical testing and commissioningKnowledge of SCADA, PLCs, or industrial process controlFamiliarity with BESS, Energy from Waste, anaerobic digestion, or other renewable technologiesManaging electrical engineering projects from inception to completionA degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related fieldChartered Engineer status or working towards professional registration

Salary up to £65,000
depending on experience, plus a
£4,000 annual car allowance .Home-based working
