Production Manager

Overview

As Production Manager you will provide strategic operational oversight for production facilities and ensure safety, quality, and financial performance. You will support the Plant Manager in hitting KPIs, drive continuous improvement, and lead hands-on on the shop floor. Collaborating with EHS, Quality, Maintenance and other stakeholders, you’ll optimize processes and productivity. This role offers exposure across multiple departments and shifts within a global, fast-paced environment, with a focus on impactful operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee routine operations and ensure compliance with safety, food and feed safety, and environmental policies
• Support Plant Manager in achieving production KPIs across the department
• Monitor production outcomes, quantity and quality to meet customer specifications and safety requirements
• Collaborate with production supervisors to meet customer specs and timelines
• Administer department/shift budget and process purchase orders while ensuring timely invoice payments
• Develop operational plans for multiple departments, processes and shifts
• Lead CAPEX projects and continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity and reduce costs
• Coordinate with EHS, Commercial, Supply Chain, Quality, and Maintenance to achieve site goals
• Deliver accurate reports and performance updates to Plant Manager and stakeholders
• Make personnel decisions for direct reports and perform hands-on tasks alongside team members
• Perform other duties as assigned
