Junior Finance Business Partner

Overview

In this role you will support the finance function for a portfolio of contracts around 20m revenue, delivering timely management accounts and forecasts. You will work closely with contract managers, operations and site admins to improve reporting, manage budgets, and flag risks early. You’ll produce rolling and quarterly forecasts and annual budgets, contributing to efficiency and cost-base insights. This is a hybrid, remote-friendly opportunity with clear career progression in a public-sector-focused finance team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts (SAP) and related reporting
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Collaborate with contract managers, operations and site admin to ensure accurate reporting
• Develop rolling forecasts and quarterly/annual budgets
• Identify opportunities and risks to enable robust forecasting and accounting
• Support efficiency initiatives through cost-base insights and reviews

Key requirements

• Part qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent)
• Experience in complex/high data financial environments (preferred)
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders
• Financial, commercial and customer awareness
• Experience using SAP and/or CAFMs (preferred)
