Business Intelligence Analyst

Overview

In this role you will design, develop and maintain Power BI reporting and semantic models to support facilities management operations. You will translate stakeholder requirements into actionable insights, consolidating CAFM data with other sources to improve decision-making and client reporting. You will work closely with account directors and senior stakeholders to manage priorities across contracts while upholding data quality and governance. Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Power BI reports and semantic models
• Create scalable data models with relationships and reusable semantic layers
• Develop DAX measures and Power Query transformations for accurate reporting
• Produce reports on SLA/KPI performance, maintenance activities, compliance, assets and costs
• Consolidate and analyze data from CAFM and other operational systems
• Maintain data quality, validation, governance and reporting standards
• Act as BI point of contact for allocated Hard Services contracts
• Gather, challenge and translate stakeholder requirements into reporting solutions
• Build relationships with Account Directors and senior stakeholders
• Present complex data to non-technical audiences and manage multiple priorities
• Identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement

Key requirements

• Experience in Facilities Management, ideally Hard Services
• Practical experience with CAFM systems and data
• Understanding of FM processes and how CAFM supports delivery and reporting
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience developing reports with Power BI
• Advanced knowledge of DAX and Power Query (M)
• Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources
• Strong data modelling and semantic modelling capabilities
• Analytical, problem-solving and data-validation skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
