Principal Product Manager – Operations

Overview

As Senior Product Manager – Operations, you own the strategy and delivery of Radiant’s internal tooling and integrations to help teams operate and scale the cloud platform. You partner with engineering, SRE, infrastructure, networking, security, and operations to reduce friction and boost self-service. You shape CMDB, asset and service inventory, APIs, and automation to create reliable, scalable internal systems. This role combines technical depth with product execution to support Radiant’s mission of scalable, AI-native infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of internal tooling, CMDB, service catalogues, operational workflows, and integrations
• Translate business and operational needs into product requirements, specs, user stories, data models, and priorities
• Partner with engineering to define solutions across APIs, integrations, automation, and platform tooling
• Work with SRE, infrastructure, security, support, and other internal users to improve automation and self-service
• Establish reliable sources of truth for infrastructure, services, customers, environments, ownership, and configuration
• Drive prioritisation, backlog management, technical design discussions, delivery, and adoption
• Define success metrics and ensure tooling is secure, observable, auditable, reliable, and well documented
• Evaluate build vs. buy decisions and third-party tooling where appropriate

Key requirements

• Experience owning technical products, internal platforms, developer tooling, or infrastructure products end-to-end
• Experience across data centre operations, hardware lifecycle and inventory, infrastructure support, field operations, or related environments
• Strong technical fluency across: APIs & integrations (REST, gRPC, webhooks, third-party APIs); Infrastructure (Kubernetes, cloud platforms, containers, IaC); Data & CMDB (relational modelling, inventory, ownership, dependency mapping); Automation (queues, schedulers, workflow engines, event-driven systems); Observability & security (logging, metrics, tracing, IAM, RBAC, audit logging)
• Familiarity with NetBox, ServiceNow, Terraform, Grafana, Jira or similar
• Strong understanding of distributed systems concepts (retries, idempotency, eventual consistency, failure handling)
• Strong prioritisation, communication, and stakeholder management
• Comfortable working with engineers and making technical trade-offs without being the primary implementer
• Ability to operate in fast-paced environment from discovery to delivery
