Reporting Assistance & Shared Services Accountant

Overview

In this role you contribute to the corporate reporting function within a global agrifood business. You will ensure accurate month-end reporting across shared service entities and support the corporate reporting team with analysis and reconciliations. The role offers exposure to budgeting, audits, and cross-functional collaboration across regions. Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day shared service accounting: AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations
• Handle VAT calculations, reconciliations, and submissions
• Prepare month-end journals, fixed assets, depreciation, prepayments, accruals, FX revaluations
• Produce monthly reporting and support annual budget preparation
• Assist with annual audits in coordination with Regional Accounting Manager
• Support corporate reporting tasks such as reporting and financial analysis and GL reconciliation reviews

Key requirements

• Part qualified or newly qualified ACCA or CIMA
• Experience in agriculture or food preferred
• Strong accounting fundamentals
• Meticulous with high attention to detail
• Deadline-oriented with good time management and organizational skills
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office
• IT literate with knowledge of AX Dynamics or D365 (preferred)
• Proven ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Team-focused with collaborative mindset
• Adaptable in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
