Manager, Deal Finance, Strategy & Execution, EY-Parthenon – London

Overview

In this role you support CFOs and finance leaders by guiding finance transformation and related change initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure problems, deliver practical recommendations, and help shape client finance functions. You may lead or support engagements, including deal-related work and value creation in a transaction context. This role combines strategy, execution, and business development to deliver sustainable improvements in a global advisory setting. You will work with EY’s Deal Finance team to drive measurable outcomes for clients and contribute to growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead and/or support client engagements, coordinating engagement teams as needed
• Structure complex problems and translate analysis into actionable recommendations
• Advise CFOs on finance strategy, operating models, and performance improvement
• Plan and deliver finance transformation initiatives (process, governance, data, reporting, technology)
• Support deal-related finance work (due diligence, integration/separation, value creation)
• Contribute to business development through propositions, pitches and proposals

Key requirements

• Experience in a finance role (FP&A, Financial Control, Commercial/Operational Finance, or CFO team) or management consulting focused on finance transformation
• Recognised professional qualification (ACA or CIMA)
• Strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills with stakeholders at varying levels
• Experience shaping and delivering change in industry, consulting, or transactions
• Ability to deliver high-quality work under challenging deadlines and manage priorities
