Overview

In this Finance Business Partner role, you will partner with the leadership team to surface value-add ideas, assess risks, and drive action plans. You will manage long-range, in-year, and short-term planning for revenue and costs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. You will translate insights into concrete actions with the data and analytics team, and lead investment appraisals that boost store efficiency and customer propositions. You will own the month-end narrative and communicate complex concepts clearly to senior stakeholders, contributing to the wider finance community and ongoing business transformation.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to surface value-add ideas, assess risks and opportunities, and challenge mitigation and action planning.
• Oversee long-range, in-year, and short-term planning for revenue and costs, aligned with corporate plans.
• Conduct value-add analysis with finance analysts and data team to identify opportunities and drive actions.
• Lead investment appraisal of store-operations projects to improve cost efficiency and customer proposition.
• Own the month-end performance narrative and ensure actionable follow-ups.
• Translate complex financial concepts for senior and non-finance stakeholders to enable decisions.
• Engage actively with the wider finance community.
