Project Manager

Overview

In this site-based role, you will drive the delivery of a 290-bedroom hotel fit-out in London, coordinating the project team and key stakeholders to hit milestones on a three-year scheme. You’ll work closely with the client, consultants, subcontractors and site team to manage programme, quality, and commercial interfaces. The position focuses on traditional contracting delivery, ownership of issues, and safe, smooth handover. This is an opportunity to shape high-end interior delivery on a flagship hotel project and demonstrate strong leadership on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project programme and ensure key milestones are achieved
• Coordinate subcontractors and specialist trades
• Oversee quality, sequencing and on-site progress
• Chair and contribute to project and progress meetings
• Collaborate with the commercial team to manage variations and costs
• Manage interfaces between consultants, subcontractors and the site team
• Maintain health and safety standards on site
• Identify and resolve programme and delivery issues
• Oversee handover, snagging and completion
• Maintain strong client and project-team communication

Key requirements

• Strong experience delivering hotel, hospitality or high-end fit-out projects
• Experience on large-scale, multi-room hotel schemes
• Background working under traditional forms of procurement/contract
• Strong construction and site delivery knowledge
• Experience managing multiple specialist subcontractors and packages
• Excellent programme management and organisational skills
• Strong client-facing and communication skills
• Ability to take ownership of a project and drive delivery
• Valid SMSTS – essential
• Valid First Aid – essential
• Ability to work site based in London
