Overview

In this role you will lead the administration and continuous improvement of Deel’s systems, tools, and processes that power cross-functional teams. You’ll own strategy and execution to boost efficiency, accuracy, and speed, while ensuring controls, compliance, and risk management. You’ll partner with teams to streamline operations for internal and customer impact and drive meaningful, measurable improvements. Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operational workflows and identify efficiency opportunities
• Support automation initiatives to cut manual work and speed up processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline tools and processes for internal teams and customers
• Ensure adherence to operational controls, compliance, and risk management
• Contribute to fraud prevention and regulatory alignment through strong standards
• Monitor performance metrics and escalate risks or gaps to leadership
• Drive customer-focused process improvements to improve turnaround times and escalation handling
• Expand and improve self-service options to reduce manual support
• Implement regular feedback loops to inform continuous improvement
• Coordinate operational readiness for new product or market launches with stakeholders
• Assist with go-to-market initiatives by removing bottlenecks and ensuring adoption
• Track and report operational outcomes with insights and recommendations
• Execute operational projects and strategic initiatives with senior leaders

Key requirements

• 5+ years in operations in fast-paced environments (Tech/FinTech/AI startup a plus)
• Strong problem-solving skills and detail orientation with a solutions mindset
• KPI-driven with proven ability to track and improve performance metrics
• Exposure to process automation and operational tooling
• Background in FinTech, consulting, banking, or fast-paced startups preferred
• Strong analytical skills with ability to turn data into actionable insights (AI & SQL familiarity a plus)
