Business Development Manager

Overview

In this role you drive new business for design-and-build interior projects, working closely with cross-functional teams to shape competitive proposals. You will build and manage a pipeline by engaging early with decision-makers across the industry, and lead client interactions from discovery through to delivery. This role sits at the intersection of sales, design, and project delivery, helping to grow the client base in a London-based market. You’ll partner with internal teams to forecast performance and report progress to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Proactively source and convert new client leads across commercial fit-out, workplace interiors, and design-and-build projects
• Identify upcoming projects and build pipelines early through stakeholder engagement
• Develop and maintain a network of industry decision-makers (agents, landlords, developers, architects, interior designers, QS, project managers)
• Lead client presentations and manage discovery/briefing phases
• Collaborate with design, estimating, and project delivery teams to shape competitive, value-engineered proposals
• Maintain accurate pipeline records, forecast sales performance, and report activity to senior leadership
