Senior Associate – Real Estate

Overview

As Senior Associate in our Real Estate team, you will lead residential development transactions for housebuilders, promoters, and developers while coordinating site assembly, contracts, and collaboration agreements. You’ll strengthen client relationships, support national projects, and contribute to business development in a high-performing, nationwide practice. This role blends technical real estate expertise with client-facing impact in a dynamic market. You’ll work with cross-functional lawyers to shape strategic land and infrastructure agreements.

Responsibilities

• Act for housebuilders, promoters and developers on residential development matters
• Manage conditional/unconditional contracts, options, affordable housing transactions and overage arrangements
• Handle site assembly, easements, infrastructure agreements and management documentation
• Support complex strategic land, promotion and collaboration agreements
• Assist in running transactions and strengthening client relationships to support business development

Key requirements

• Strong technical ability and commercial awareness

• Experience with VAT and SDLT considerations
