Senior Consultant – Financial Services

Overview

As a Senior Consultant, you will lead client engagements to design and implement risk-aware solutions within financial services. You will own workstreams, coordinate with sponsors and leaders, and deliver clear reports and presentations to executives. You’ll mentor junior staff, ensure deliverable quality, and help develop or refine risk management frameworks aligned with regulatory requirements. This role offers exposure to cross-border banking regulations and the chance to shape client outcomes in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and track project plans and status reports
• Run workshops with business units to map processes using Visio
• Identify operational risks and turn findings into actionable insights via PowerPoint/PowerBI/Tableau
• Support project execution including risk controls assessment and remediation
• Build relationships with clients and internal teams
• Lead and contribute to RFP responses
• Help clients implement or enhance operational risk management frameworks meeting regulatory requirements across jurisdictions

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3+ years of experience in banking industry or commercial financial services consulting
• Experience with compliance and risk assessment for large banks and adherence to international standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment with evolving priorities
• Right to work in UK/IE (Common Travel Area or equivalent)
