Finance Business Partner

Overview

As a Finance Business Partner, you will own the P&L and Balance Sheet for key business units, translating financial performance into actionable insights. You’ll partner with senior leaders to drive growth and profitability, delivering accurate forecasts, budgets, and monthly accounts with clear production and cost analysis. You’ll present MI to a senior audience and shape commercial decisions through robust FP&A. This hybrid role combines financial stewardship with strategic influence across sites and teams.

Responsibilities

• Own P&L and Balance Sheet for the business units and monitor performance
• Deliver forecasts, budgets, and monthly accounts with standard costing and variance analysis
• Provide clear visibility of production performance, material usage and labor efficiency
• Present Management Information to senior leaders and influence decision-making
• Drive FP&A quality and cross-functional collaboration to support strategic goals
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the organisation
• Travel to manufacturing sites to gain operational insights

Key requirements

• CIMA or equivalent
• Commercial business knowledge and FP&A experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Ambitious and engaged with leadership teams to influence strategy
• Team player, well organised, resilient
• Ability to foster relationships across multiple levels of the business
