Technology Procurement & Sourcing Manager

Overview

In this role, you will lead strategic technology procurement for a global financial services institution, shaping sourcing approaches and driving value across IT services. You’ll partner with senior stakeholders to influence commercially significant decisions and support international transformation programs. This is a strategic, impact-led position with exposure to long-term projects and cross-functional collaboration. You will help raise procurement performance and enable more effective contracts and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic sourcing and category strategies aligned with business priorities for international procurement
• Lead complex sourcing initiatives across technology and IT services, owning high-value projects
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and deliver measurable commercial value
• Optimise contracts and supplier performance across the contract lifecycle
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders on financial planning, forecasting and budgets
• Drive transformation and continuous improvement by challenging processes and promoting innovation

Key requirements

• Experience in technology and IT services procurement, including category management and strategic sourcing in a global environment
• Strong sourcing and contract management expertise with ability to negotiate and deliver advantageous outcomes
• Financial and commercial acumen including cost analysis, budgeting and forecasting
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across global teams
• Analytical and solutions-focused approach with understanding of procurement systems and processes
• Experience in financial services or regulated environments is advantageous
