Business Systems Analyst

Overview

As a Business Systems Analyst for Oracle Cloud Supply Chain, you will partner with global leaders to analyze, design, and optimize SCM processes using Oracle Cloud ERP. You’ll translate business needs into system requirements, configure and test features, and drive deployment and optimization. The role sits in a fast-paced life sciences setting and requires on-site presence in Wotton four days a week, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable improvements. This is a chance to influence supply chain outcomes at a global scale.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve supply chain processes leveraging Oracle Cloud SCM
• Define and manage requirements, configurations, and implementation for Oracle Cloud ERP (SCM modules)
• Serve as SME for Oracle Cloud Supply Chain and advise on process and technical solutions
• Coordinate workflows and document requirements to support deployment and optimization
• Perform configuration and QA testing to ensure requirements are met and UX is as intended
• Support UAT, deployment to production, and issue resolution with root cause analysis
• Track requirements through the lifecycle and liaise between business and IT
• Communicate effectively and prepare training materials; synthesize high-level concepts into detailed requirements
• Understand integration points with other systems and manage data/conversion implications
• Collaborate with external consultants to resolve production issues and support initiatives
• Assess complex problems, support strategic initiatives, and design future-state processes across global supply chain
• Partner with SMEs across Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Order Management and Quality
• Define/report specifications for changes and reports; support acquisitions integrations and SDLC activities

Key requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in supply chain or manufacturing process improvement (Life Sciences preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Strong functional experience with Oracle Fusion SCM modules (Inventory, Procurement, Order Management, Manufacturing and Planning)
• Experience implementing systems supporting supply chain processes
• Ability to optimise business processes and recommend new flows
• LEAN continuous improvement methodology (desirable)
• Experience writing SQL queries to quantify/troubleshoot data issues (desirable)
