Asset & Wealth Management – Platform Management Analyst – London

Overview

In this role within the Platform Management team, you help optimise day-to-day portfolio decision-making for private market portfolios. You collaborate with investment teams, capital markets, engineering and investor relations to support liquidity strategies, deal allocations and fund structures. You will analyze performance metrics, monitor guidelines, and assist with capital activity and reporting. This is a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you influence investor returns and risk management through data-driven insights.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily liquidity management and prepare forecasts to evaluate funding needs
• Develop liquidity recommendations and coordinate capital activity with stakeholders
• Conduct attribution analysis to understand portfolio returns and drive improvements
• Monitor investment guidelines and manage concentration limits across funds and accounts
• Advise on fundraising and fund structure creation in cross-functional settings
• Track, report, and analyze performance metrics and KPI
• Facilitate portfolio allocations, deal execution, closing and harvesting activities
• Coordinate capital calls, cash distributions, and investor/regulatory reporting
• Respond to compliance/ad hoc requests with data and analyses
• Support technology initiatives related to responsibilities
• Assist in responding to regulatory inquiries and prepare management presentations
• Drive fund and investment rebalancing across new fund launch closes
• Work with internal/external teams to resolve legal, tax, accounting and operational matters

Key requirements

• 1-4 years of experience in a financial services setting
• Strong analytical orientation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with cross-team collaboration ability
• Financial acumen to prepare cash flows and performance metrics impacting investor returns
• Self-starter with ability to succeed in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Strong judgment and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a small team and be proactive
