Financial & Reporting Analyst

Overview

As Financial & Reporting Analyst in Group Finance, you support cashflow reporting, balance sheet reconciliation, consolidation and reporting for the Group and overseas entities. You partner with the Head of Financial Accounting to provide accurate, timely financial information and uphold robust controls. You will drive process improvements in consolidation, budgeting and recharge reporting, and assist with year-end audit preparations. This role offers broad exposure to global finance operations within a collaborative, mission-driven media group.

Responsibilities

• Support long and short-term Group cashflow forecasting and reporting
• Collate monthly cashflow and balance sheet packs from overseas finance teams
• Maintain and update Excel-based models for forecasting and monthly reporting
• Improve interim consolidation processes and document them
• Prepare overseas balance sheet schedules and flag variances for review
• Manage cross-border recharges budgeting
• Produce and distribute management accounts and budgets for recharge costs
• Deliver monthly CAPEX reporting and complete ONS reporting on time
• Assist with year-end audit schedules and auditor requests
• Support project work as required
