Leadership Consulting and Executive Search (Hybrid)
Account Managers and New Business Development –
London
Mercuri Urval (MU) is an international executive search and leadership consulting Advisor. With 350 people in 22 countries we work right across the leadership talent lifecycle with a systematic approach to analysis, executive search, leader assessment, coaching and role transition. We are looking for high potential colleagues with a proven track record in new business and account management in executive search or leadership consulting looking for an environment that offers long term career opportunities.
Our work is informed by independent research showing that around 40% of executive appointments do not meet expectations within the first 18 months. In response, we have developed an ISO-approved, evidence-based methodology that enables us to understand leadership roles in depth and support clients in identifying, assessing and selecting leaders who can deliver lasting impact.
MU methods are evidence-based and rigorous to counteract the risks of stereotyping, subjectivity and shortcutting in executive appointments.
Established for nearly 60 years, we have teams across the world and are a high growth business with a number of strategic accounts led from London.
A career with MU has no limits – you can develop your role as quickly as your talent and achievements allow you to, with no ceiling on what you can earn. You will be given the freedom to work in the most effective way for you, respecting your responsibility to work in a manner aligned with our strategy and values. As a result, you will have the opportunity to work with clients and colleagues across the world in developing the right solutions for their needs.

You will bring your leadership consulting expertise to the development of new and existing clients. Our clients are varied and range from small and medium sized private / PE owned businesses to large MNC’s, all of whom have unique needs that we tailor our solutions to.
Your work will include mapping and approaching potential buyers within these organisations, understanding their needs and tailoring the MU value proposition to each of them. You will understand the need for high levels of market activity and will build new relationships in a professional and persuasive manner. Within MU everything we do must be done to the highest professional standards with curiosity, energy and a high degree of consultation with clients. Our approach is to understand our clients’ needs to which we can provide tailored solutions. We do not push products that are not relevant.
The career opportunity with this role is to build on your success with ever more strategic clients and services. Progression to people leadership or client leadership roles as a director or Partner is open to all.
