We are looking for a motivated, ambitious and commercially minded Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join a growing recruitment team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in recruitment, with full training provided and clear opportunities for career progression.
You will learn how to identify and attract talent, build relationships with candidates and clients, develop new business opportunities and manage the recruitment process from start to finish.
No previous recruitment experience is required. We are looking for someone with the right attitude, strong communication skills and the drive to succeed in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and identify suitable candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, databases and direct headhunting.
- Make outbound calls to candidates and prospective clients to develop relationships and generate opportunities.
- Build and maintain a strong network of candidates and clients.
- Develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking and client outreach.
- Conduct candidate interviews to understand experience, skills and career aspirations.
- Match candidates to suitable vacancies and present them to clients.
- Coordinate interviews, gather feedback and assist with offer negotiations.
- Manage the recruitment process from initial contact through to placement.
- Maintain accurate candidate and client records within the recruitment CRM.
- Work towards individual targets and contribute to the wider team’s success.
