Locum Acute Medicine Consultant – AMU & SDEC Lead

Barking Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a senior Acute Medicine Consultant to join a team of six consultants. The post involves AMU ward rounds, SDEC coverage, and GIM on-call duties with the roster managed alongside resident doctors and nursing staff.

The successful candidate will contribute to safe discharges, participate in multidisciplinary rounds, and support acute medical take across the trust’s acute medicine services.
