About Albany Beck

Albany Beck is a specialist financial services consultancy delivering change, transformation and technology solutions to leading financial institutions. We provide experienced consultants who work alongside our clients to deliver business‑critical programmes and operational improvements.

Role Overview

Albany Beck is seeking two experienced Project Managers to support a major client migration programme within the Wealth Management division of a leading financial services organisation.

The programme has progressed into its migration and execution phase, with established delivery plans, processes and governance already in place. The focus is now on executing high‑volume client migrations across multiple scheduled tranches throughout 2027.

The successful candidates will be responsible for managing the day‑to‑day delivery of client migration plans, ensuring all activities, dependencies, stakeholders and readiness criteria are effectively coordinated to achieve successful migrations.

This is a hands‑on, delivery‑focused Project Management role requiring strong execution capabilities, excellent stakeholder management and exceptional attention to detail. The client is looking for experienced Project Managers who can take ownership of established plans and drive delivery at pace, rather than individuals focused on programme design, strategy or governance setup.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and execute detailed client migration plans, ensuring all activities are delivered against agreed timelines, milestones and requirements.
  • Manage day‑to‑day project delivery across multiple client migrations, coordinating high volumes of activity and competing priorities.
  • Work closely with Front Office, Operations, Technology and wider business stakeholders to ensure migration readiness.
  • Track and manage key dependencies, risks, issues and actions, proactively identifying and resolving potential delivery blockers.
  • Ensure all migration prerequisites are completed, including commercial agreements, target operating model readiness, system access and operational requirements.
  • Coordinate migration readiness assessments, including go/no‑go criteria and associated stakeholder approvals.
  • Monitor project progress against established plans, maintaining accurate reporting and providing regular delivery updates.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement across business functions, ensuring clear ownership and accountability for deliverables.
  • Support the successful execution of scheduled migration tranches, including high‑volume client onboarding and transition activities.
  • Ensure effective post‑migration handover, issue resolution and transition into business‑as‑usual operations.
  • Maintain a high standard of delivery discipline, documentation and attention to detail throughout the migration lifecycle.

Required Experience

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering complex, business‑focused change initiatives within Financial Services.
  • Previous experience supporting client migration, business transition, onboarding or large‑scale implementation programmes.
  • Strong hands‑on project delivery experience, with the ability to execute established plans and manage day‑to‑day activities independently.
  • Demonstrable experience managing multiple workstreams, stakeholders, dependencies and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including working with senior business stakeholders and cross−functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of project governance, RAID management, milestone tracking and delivery reporting.
  • Experience working in fast‑paced, high‑volume delivery environments where execution, accuracy and deadlines are critical.
  • Ability to manage migration readiness, go/no‑go decisions and operational handovers.
  • Highly organised, proactive and detail‑oriented, with a strong focus on delivery and problem‑solving.
  • Comfortable operating within an established programme structure without requiring significant direction or oversight.
  • Previous experience within Wealth Management, Private Banking or Investment Management.
  • Experience delivering Front Office or client‑facing migration programmes.
  • Understanding of target operating models, operational readiness and business transition processes.
  • Experience managing phased migrations involving multiple client groups or scheduled tranches.
