About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Group Internal Communications Manager to help shape how we communicate, connect and engage with more than 7,000 colleagues across our growing international organisation.
This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with our CEO, Executive team and regional communications leads, delivering engaging communications that bring our 2030 strategy, organisational priorities and culture to life.
You’ll take ownership of forward communications planning, develop compelling content for diverse audiences and lead communications activity across key Group initiatives.
We’re looking for someone who can think strategically but is equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves, whether that’s developing an enterprise-wide communications plan, drafting a CEO announcement or creating content for colleagues working across our schools and services.
Working in a fast-paced, evolving environment, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact on how our people understand, connect with and contribute to our future.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver internal communications strategies, campaigns and content aligned with Group priorities and our 2030 strategy.
Develop high-quality communications for the CEO and Executive team, including leadership updates, newsletters, presentations and organisational announcements.
Own and manage the Group internal communications calendar, ensuring coordinated and consistent messaging.
Partner with senior stakeholders, subject matter experts and regional communications teams to deliver effective communications across multiple territories.
Support the development and management of internal communications channels, monitoring engagement and effectiveness.
Create engaging, accessible content for diverse audiences, including distributed and deskless colleagues.
Develop communications plans, messaging and supporting materials for organisation-wide initiatives, change programmes and leadership events.
What We’re Looking For
Significant experience in internal communications, ideally within a complex, multi-territory or global organisation.
Exceptional writing and copywriting skills, with the ability to adapt messaging and tone for different audiences.
Experience developing communications for CEOs, Executive teams and senior leaders.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the credibility to influence and collaborate at senior leadership level.
Experience delivering strategic communications campaigns, organisational change initiatives and managing internal communications channels.
Experience communicating with geographically dispersed or deskless workforces.
Ability to balance strategic planning with hands‑on delivery, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with communications measurement, engagement analysis and reporting.
Familiarity with platforms such as SharePoint, Poppulo, Adobe or other internal communications tools.
Experience supporting employer brand or EVP initiatives.
