About the company and role
A large organisation is seeking a Financial Accountant to join its finance team in Mallusk. Reporting to the Group Financial Reporting Manager, this role covers Group financial reporting, statutory accounts, consolidation and technical accounting across multiple entities.
Key Duties
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual Group financial reporting.
Lead the preparation of statutory accounts across Group companies.
Support Group consolidation, intercompany reconciliations and journals.
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate financial variances.
Support audits, financial controls and accounting compliance.
Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and systems.
Requirements:
Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
Ability to manage deadlines and work within a Group finance environment.
Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
